General Requirement: Both Florida residents and visitors typically require a license for recreational fishing, whether it's freshwater or saltwater.

There are various licenses for different durations (daily, annual) and activities (freshwater, saltwater, combination).
Exemptions: Seniors: Residents aged 65 or older are exempt with proof of age or residency.
